This is champion. Who doesn’t own two ingredients? A homeless person likely has more than two food ingredients on their person. These are recipes we can handle.
How do you guys feel about those”2 ingredient” recipes that are:
Box of Cake Mix + Can of Soda = “2 ingredient recipe”
I think those are shady as hell! Dude that Box of Cake Mix has like 6 ingredients! But the internet says those are valid recipes and people don’t complain so I added two of those at the bottom.
Today I present 5 vegan 2 ingredient recipes.
Of those recipes 3 are NO BAKE and 2 are shady.
Vegan Coconut Banana Cookie
If you read the original recipe linked below you’ll see that she says to use a food processor. I didn’t because I wanted less stuff to clean. I think she used shredded coconut while I used coconut flakes. It’s what I had on hand. She recommends not using overly ripped bananas because they won’t hold their shape as well.
1 ripe (but not over rip) banana (115 grams), 6 TB coconut flakes (35 grams)
- Mash banana
- Mix in as much coconut flakes as needed
- Put on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or til golden. ENJOY

Vegan Banana Brownies
The original recipe called for 3 large ripe bananas & 4 TB cocoa powder but I used less. 🙂 Calling these brownies is more of a curtsy than accuracy. They pretty much taste like bananas with a punch of cocoa powder.
3 small ripe bananas (315 grams), 3 TB cocoa powder, spray oil
- Mash bananas
- Mix in cocoa powder
- Spray small baking container. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes (until top is firm).
- Allow to cool then set in fridge for at least an hour before cutting. When chilled it holds the best texture. ENJOY

2 Ingredient Almond Butter Cookies!
Oh My GGGGGGGGGGGGGD. Anyone who’s eating spoons of straight nut butter this recipe is for you. The original recipe says to soak the dates but I ain’t got time for that. So I just added a dash of water when I saw the mixture was too thick to mix properly. One thing I’d recommend is if you’re almond butter that has oil sitting on top try to mix it in well before pouring it into the food processor. Easy!
6 dates (118 grams), 1 cup almond butter (salted, sweetened and/or plain)
- Soak dates then drain dates
- Add dates and almond butter to food processor
- Processor til smooth (I had to add a dash of water)
- Put 1 TB size balls of dough onto parchment paper and flatten with fork
- Put in fridge to help hold its shape. ENJOY

Vegan 2 Ingredient Cake Batter Truffles
I used salted vegan butter and DAMN did mine come out salty. I like salty sweet so it’s fine. But I recommend unsalted vegan butter! I didn’t want to make a whole batch so I just measured out half of the package of vegan cake mix (organic cake mix from aldi!). I used a whole stick of vegan butter because I just assumed it was equal to a half stick of regular butter. As I was portioning the truffles into 1 TB size balls they felt hella greasy. Maybe I used too much? Feel free to change the ratios or cross reference the link to the original recipe below. I found these very addicting. Party food for sure.
1/2 box of cake mix, 1 stick of vegan butter (4 oz), 4 TB sprinkles, optional (50 grams)
- Melt vegan butter
- Mix in cake mix (and sprinkles)
- Scoop out your truffles. Chill them in the fridge. ENJOY

Vegan Chocolate Coconut Milk Truffles
These were awesome! I should have shown a picture of the inside. So smooth and creamy! Super legit. While scooping them they were a semi-soft-mess. I rolled them in cocoa powder. Then I put them back in the fridge. They got a bit more solid after that so then I rolled them into more perfectly shaped balls. I think they looked better without me rolling them a second time.
4.5 oz vegan chocolate chips ( grams), 4 TB canned coconut milk, cocoa powder optional
- Put chocolate chips in a bowl
- Heat up coconut milk in a separate bowl (microwave 35 seconds)
- Pour heated coconut milk into chips and cover with a towel for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes stir the two together. Less stirring (less air?) is part of the original recipe. Some of the chocolate wasn’t perfectly melted so I microwaved the mixture for the least amount of time. Maybe 20 seconds or so? Smooth is the goal.
- Chill mixture in fridge. I checked on the mixture every 45 minutes. Once the center of the mixture was almond solid I started rolling out balls & coating in cocoa powder. (video below)
- I placed then back in the fridge for another couple hours. Done. ENJOY
