I’m not a baker so throw caution to the wind. This is gooey but will cut into thick slices if you ask it nicely. I didn’t use oil, so the only fat in this are the chocolate chips. I half-ass followed the recipe posted below. It’s worth checking it out. I love chocolate banana bread! Let’s get married.
4 bananas, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/4 cup vegan milk, 1/2 cup sugar (brown, white or both), 1.75 cup flour, 1/2 ts baking soda, 1/2 ts baking powder, 1/2 cup cacao powder and 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- Mash 4 bananas and mix in 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/4 cup vegan milk & 1/2 cup sugar
- Add 1.75 cup flour, 1/2 ts baking soda, 1/2 ts baking powder & 1/2 cup cacao powder and mix again
- Grease a loaf pan and add chocolate chips on top
- Bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Turn heat off but leave it in the oven for 10 minutes. After that you can open the oven door, pull out the bread and check it with a toothpick. If it needs to be cooked longer then turn the heat back on. ENJOY
